Spanish Rosé Wine
Despite the suitability of the Spanish climate for both making and consuming rosé wine, it’s not a style that is harnessed by many of the country’s wine regions. The most notable and numerous examples herald from Rioja, where the Garnacha variety tends to take the lead, delivering a style with more weight, colour and fruit than the famously delicate Provençal renderings on the other side of the French border.
