2022 Cinsault 'Geronimo', Lukas van Loggerenberg
From the Rustenhof farm, with the closest Cinsault vines to the ocean, this is stunning. Bright and juicy, 40% stems brings a lift and a herbal complexity. There’s purity and aromatic complexity, yet it remains so lively and fun. Delicious.

Geronimo has moved to a new terroir in 2022, back to 1970s vineyards planted close to the ocean in Firgrove. Fermented with 35% stems, it's typically taut and refreshing, all pink grapefruit, pomegranate and wild strawberry fruit flavours, top notes of Turkish Delight and a mineral core. 2024-29

Eben Sadie's Columella was the inspiration for this Rhône-style Swartland blend, made with Syrah, 9% Grenache and 3% Cinsault. Spicy, refreshing and zippy, it's a restrained, medium-bodied style with very little oak influence, red berry, bramble and pomegranate flavours and savoury tannins. A stylish second release. 2024-29
