With notes of mulberry and dried orange rind on the nose, the palate opens to cassis and plum, with silky, elegant tannins. Richness and power is beautifully balanced with freshness and finesse.

Product Description
This Cabernet comes from the talented Chris and Andrea Mullineux (famed for making some of the Cape’s most impressive, serious bottlings), and their Leeu Passant project which has seen them establish roots in Stellenbosch. Planted on the mid-slopes of iron and sandstone-rich soils of the Helderberg Mountain, the grapes from this cool site naturally achieve a focus and sophistication that is reminiscent of many classical Cabernets.
