2020 Bohan-Dillon Pinot Noir, Hirsch Vineyards, Sonoma Coast
Bohan Dillon is Hirsch's equivalent of a village wine, with mostly estate fruit, from their extreme western Sonoma Coast vineyards, and around 30% from neighbouring vineyards. It's a vibrant, exuberant, expressive wine with bright red fruit and acidity. The tannins are moderate and soft making it approachable now, but the structure of the acid and tannins, along with the exuberant aromatics also make it one to lay down for at least a decade in the cellar.
