A magnificent Salon that maintains so much tension yet with very stylish citrus fruit and charm of the warmer vintage. As always there detail here is impressive with a very pure saline core, white grapefruit pith, lemongrass and chalk dust. The mousse is like satin on the palate and there is just a crystalline energy on the palate that melds effortlessly with notes of jasmine and fresh white flowers. Some savoury complexity comes through on the finish with aromas of miso and sesame cracker - this is extremely impressive for the vintage.
