The Piedlong is a very different expression of Châteauneuf compared with Vieux Télégraphe due to the sandy subsoil of this plot. The blend in 2023 is 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre. This is such a pretty wine, with notes of wild strawberry, cherry blossom and dried rose petal. Finesse and elegance run through the wine while the aromatics lift from the glass.
