2023 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs-Gains, Michel Bouzereau
Strictly limited to 6 bottles per customer
You can feel the character of the poor stony soil found in Puligny here in this wine’s floral, light-on-its-feet delicacy. It has a piercing, slightly spicy intensity accompanied by a tenderness of fruit on the textured finish. Enticing, with intricate structure and superb definition.

The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Champs Gains 1er Cru sprints out of the blocks on the nose with lively peach skin, citrus peel and crushed stone scents—très Puligny. The palate is slightly pithy and very well balanced, with good body and plenty of extract alongside a vibrant mineral-rich finish. This is actually better than the 2022—recommended.
