En Primeur
2023 Gevrey-Chambertin, J'écris ton nom, Les Horées
Strictly limited to 3 bottles per customer
A new addition to the range in 2023, two thirds of the fruit is sourced from En Reniard adding bright, luminous fruit, with the other third from Combe du Bas, adding spiciness. The nose is beautifully fruit forward. The 50% and 100% whole-bunch used respectively here works a treat, producing a perfumed, mineral, and supple wine. The tannins are present, but they add length rather than weight or too much intensity. P.S. the inspiration for the name of this new addition comes from the poem Liberté by Paul Eluard.
