This is another new cuvée in 2023. Catharina recently began to farm the tiny plot, so it is set to become a new reference point in her portfolio. The vineyard is planted on a little terrace and needs to be worked with a horse. She’s used 50% whole-bunch on this wine, as much out of necessity (such a small volume) as from desire, but it works very well. It shows a juicy acidity, sapid, lacy tannins and a silky, mineral length tinged with blood orange. Amazing energy and a great new addition.
