This was a new cuvée in 2022, and its name is a play on words. ‘If’ is French for yew tree, and the name describes a group of six trees; but say it out loud (en français) and you’ll see what it really means. It comes from fruit sourced 100% from Savigny Les Boutières (she started farming this vineyard from 2024 onwards), and 50% whole-bunch. It is a boisterous bourgogne rouge, with concentration and density but also lifted and lacy tannins. Loads of fun.
