Contucci

Contucci is the oldest producer in Montepulciano. It outdates the second oldest by 900 years. The impressive Alamanno Contucci is currently at the helm. In his other role as President of the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, the body responsible for the region’s wines, he was responsible for upping not only the quality of Contucci, but the quality of Vino Nobile as a whole. As you’d expect with the estate’s history, they produce a traditional Vino Nobile, unhurried and structured.
