When it comes to picturesque, friendly, family-run Provençal estates, they don’t come any better than this. The charming Combard family run this organically farmed estate in the village of La Londe Les Maures, between Toulon and St Tropez, facing the azure waters of the Med and the Porquerolles Islands. They make an accomplished list of whites and reds, but it is their rosés that steal the show. Every level, from IGP, through AOC Côtes de Provence, up to their top cuvée from La Londe, are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, and quintessentially Provençal: dry, herb-scented, elegant and refreshing wines.
