Domaine Jean-Marc Millot

Talented winemaker Alix Millot is behind the exceptional wines from Domaine Jean-Marc Millot. Her father, Jean-Marc, started the domaine in Nuits-St-Georges, although most of their wines come from appellations beyond, including a truly excellent Côtes de Nuits-Villages. Alix inherited some beautiful vineyards from her mother in and around Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Échezeaux, which have been part of the domaine since 1987 and include an exceptional parcel of 1er Cru Les Suchots, as well as three grands crus (Échezeaux, Grands-Échezeaux, and Clos de Vougeot). Jean-Marc now takes a supporting role, while Alix earns a name as one of the most exciting young winemakers in the region. Her light touch in the winery is evident, her wines have taken on an increased precision and as a result, demand for them is growing with each vintage.
