Domaine de Cambes

Domaine de Cambes is owned by the Mitjavile family, who also own St-Emilion superstar, Le Tertre-Roteboeuf. Although it is part of Roc de Cambes, it is not considered the estate's second wine and is instead treated as a wine in its own right. Francois Mitjavile puts his exceptional winemaking skills into this Bordeaux AOC, creating a wine of style and substance without his top-end price tags. The grapes are grown on a plot adjacent to the Gironde, on clay soils and a cooler terroir, imparting its silky freshness. Like all of Mitjavile’s ventures, the quantities made are limited but for a taste of truly great wine making it is well worth grabbing a case.
