Domaine Chandon de Briailles

Chandon de Briailles is one of the prettiest domaines in Burgundy. The beautiful house and cellars, lying in the heart of Savigny-lès-Beaune, has been home to the charming de Nicolay family since 1834. Today, brother and sister team, Claude and François, create elegant wines from appellations which include Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and multiple wines from the grand cru Hill of Corton vineyard. Claude and François have farmed their 14 hectares biodynamically since 2005 and organically since 2011 and a more recent update in the cellar in 2017 in the form of a vertical press has brought an additional elegance and balance to the wines.
