Storing Wine

State-of-the-art storage

Provenance, the term commonly used to describe where a wine has come from and how and where it has been stored, is king in the world of wine. It is a form of guarantee, or at least an indication, of how the wines have been shipped and stored, and in what condition. We pay strict attention to how each bottle is shipped, received and stored to ensure perfect provenance when we’re in control.

The perfect storage conditions for fine wine require stable, low temperatures, relatively high humidity and as little light as possible. Cellaring in a purpose-built facility is an excellent option for storing wines safely and cost-effectively.

We store clients’ wines, and our own, with Coterie Vaults Ltd in their purpose-built bonded warehouse to ensure that every bottle is impeccably cellared, regardless of whether you intend to drink or sell it.

Coterie Vaults’ facility has been meticulously designed to create the perfect environment for your collection, maintaining consistent temperature and humidity levels, shielding against harmful UV rays, and minimizing vibration. The facility is equipped with advanced surveillance systems, comprehensive access controls, and round-the-clock monitoring, and they have also invested in a state of the art photography studio on site to be able to provide condition reports on request.
