About Us

As one of England’s oldest fine wine merchants, we've been connecting the right people with the right wine from 1854 onwards.

It’s fair to say that our business has developed a fair bit over the years. Today, we're an independent fine wine merchant headquartered in Suffolk, with an office in Mayfair, sourcing wines from all over the world. But our mission remains the same – offering the best fine wine experience out there, from buying to storing, selling and – most importantly – enjoying fine wine.

All of our wines available for sale are listed on our website. We have a particularly strong selection of wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhône, Loire, South Africa and Italy, but carry wines from many other areas too – from Germany to Australia, New Zealand to the USA.

We also host a stream of events across the year, from tastings to dinners, offering the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with our wines and the people behind them. And we run a fine-wine loyalty program, Cellar Circle, through which members enjoy access to special parcels, our best storage rates, free delivery in the UK and access to a personal advisor. Cellar Circle Membership

We’ve been helping the best people enjoy the best wines since 1854. During that time, we’ve found that the more rewarding way to build a cellar is by getting to know exactly what sort of wines each of our customers most enjoy. So we introduced Cellar Circle. Membership starts from £100 a month, all of which goes to building your wine portfolio. You can spend it as you wish, and there are no hidden fees.
